Green Booked For Telling His Story
August 2008
In his book The Puppy Who Refused To Die, Green, a Golden Retriever, from Mesa, Arizona tells his touching story of survival. Green tells of his rescue at less than two weeks of age and of the volunteers that saved him. He tells of his brothers, sisters and of two other litters of puppies that were rescued that summer. He also tells of the medical condition that threatened his life and of the treatments that saved him.
Now Green finds himself wanted for telling his story, wanted by members of Arizona Retriever Rescue, wanted as a spokes dog for their cause. Arizona Retriever Rescue has booked Green to meet the public as one of their representatives at the Dog Days of Summer Event in Mesa, Arizona.
Come meet Green and other dogs who have been rescued through Arizona animal rescue organizations on Friday, August 8th, 2008.
The event takes place in Downtown Mesa, on Main Street between Country Club Drive and Center Street from 6 to 10 pm.
